Organisation Background:
The National Gallery houses the nation's collection of Western European painting, from about 1250. Masterpieces from Leonardo da Vinci to Van Gogh are on display every day, free of charge. BSL and BSL-interpreted talks take place in front of the paintings on the first Saturday of every month, at 1pm.

Opening Times:
Opening hours Daily 10am-6pm Friday 10am-9pm (Closing commences 5 mins before time stated) Closed 1 January and 24-26 December. Quietest times are early weekday mornings and 6-9pm Wednesday. Please note: Some areas of the Gallery will be closed for staff training on Monday mornings until 11am.

Induction loops are available at all Information Desks, in the Sainsbury Wing Theatre, and in the Sunley Room and Exhibition cinemas. Please switch your hearing aid to the 'T' setting.
