Organisation Background:
Wellcome Collection is a free destination for the incurably curious. Located at 183 Euston Road, London, it explores the connections between medicine, life and art in the past, present and future. The venue offers visitors contemporary and historic exhibitions and collections, lively public events, the world-renowned Wellcome Library, a café, a bookshop, conference facilities and a members’ club. Treat your mind to a visit soon.

Opening Times:
Opening hours: Monday- Galleries are closed. Cafe and bookshop- 10.00-18.00. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10.00-18.00. Thursday- 10.00-22.00. Sunday- 11.00-18.00. Public Holidays- 12.00-18.00. All activities are open to the public. Exhibitions and events are free unless otherwise stated. Wellcome Library Opening Times: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday- 10:00-18:00. Thursday- 10:00-20:00. Saturday- 10:00-16:00. On Sunday and public holidays The Wellcome Library is closed.

Transport:
Getting here By train The nearest mainline stations are Euston, St Pancras and King's Cross. By tube Euston station: Victoria and Northern lines Euston Square station: Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith and City lines Warren Street station: Victoria and Northern lines King's Cross station: Victoria, Northern, Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith and City lines By bus The following buses pass near Wellcome Collection: 10 : 18 : 24 : 27 : 29 : 30 : 59 : 68 : 73 : 88 : 91 : 134 : 168 : 205 : 253 : 390 By car We have a limited number of parking bays available to book for visitors who are Blue Badge holders. The car park is a basement car park, reached using our car lift. Please contact us in advance of your visit to book a space. There are also several parking meters nearby, with a maximum stay of two hours. At Euston Station there is a 230-space NCP underground car park. Wellcome Collection is situated on the A501, Euston Road. By bicycle We have five Sheffield cycle stands near the front entrance to Wellcome Collection on Euston Road. Please be aware that bicycles are left at the owner's risk. Check Transport for London’s Cycle Journey Planner.

We want your visit to Wellcome Collection to be as enjoyable as possible. We offer a range of services and facilities that should enhance your visit. Our friendly and knowledgeable Visitor Services team are always on hand to help with your queries or requests. There is step-free access to all floors of the building (via platform and passenger lifts). Assistance animals are welcome. Wheelchairs, magnifying glasses/sheets and large print label guides for all of our exhibitions are available to borrow from the ground floor Information Point. Adapted toilets, located on lower ground 2, lower ground 1, ground, first floor and second floor. Fixed induction loops are located at the ground floor Information Point, the Library Information Desk, within the Conference Centre meeting rooms and within The Forum events space. A portable induction loop is available upon request, for visitors wishing to take part in one of our guided gallery tours. If you would like to make use of our portable induction loop, or for more information, please use the contact details above in advance of your visit. Groups are welcome and we offer free, guided tours of the galleries for groups of 8 to 20. Please note that we consider our gallery content to be most suitable for visitors aged 14 plus.
