Background: |
Museum of London tells the lively story of London from prehistoric times to the present day. Find out what Romans ate for dinner, experience the Great Fire of London and find out when pointy shoes first became fashionable. Reconstructed interiors and street scenes are displayed alongside original artefacts found in the Museum's archaeological digs.
Admission is free
Museum of London Docklands seeks to inspire a passion for London. Housed in a grade I listed Georgian warehouse at West India Quay, Museum of London Docklands explores London's long history as a port through stories of trade, migration and commerce.
Annual adult ticket £5.00 Children free. admission is free after 4:30pm daily.

Museum of London
You will find the Museum on London Wall at the junction with Aldersgate Street. Coach set-down points are located on London Wall (travelling towards Moorgate) and on St.Martins-le-Grand.
There is an NCP Cark Park underneath the Museum and coach parking meters can be found just off Moorgate.
Note: Museum entrance is located on a pedestrian high walk which can be reached by stairs, escalators or lifts from Aldersgate Street; London Wall; or St Martins-le-Grand.
The Museum is fully accessible. Wheelchairs and powered scooters can be borrowed free of charge.

Museum entrance is two minutes walk from West India Quay. There is a Vinci Park car park behind the Museum on Hertsmere Road.
